I have been thinking about something to have for long range. I have a Browning WSM .300 but ammo is way to expensive to have 1000 + rounds and .308 will be a universal cal. to pick up bulk here and there. I believe there is AP available for this cal. also. Whats your take on this Weapon. It sells for under a Grand, with all acces. Factory installed.
By all means upgrade the scope. Even Mossberg's web site does not say who manufacture's the scope. Good glass is probably just as, or even more important that the rifle that it sits on.
been lookin at that gun for a few weeks now . i have a .270 atr and it's a fine shooting rifle but i bet this nightrain is sweeter.

Man that "looks" amazing... comments say its msrp is $560... I'm sure the "looks" part is a big part of the product; if it performs as good as it looks ( 1moa or better); they won't be able to keep'em in stock...
