.......wrong spot ......too high up on the post, they should be affixed lower and probably around one of the upright slats.

 

one would think they should be padded or much softer that the metal wrist clamps !!

Who can tell, behind that facial fuzz?

 

I can tell without even looking. Their sound hasn't changed since I first heard them on the crappy car stereo on the ride to school in 1977. I can't remember what model the car was, but I had to lean forward when we pulled into the highway so the bench seat wouldn't rock back. Car was so rusted the seat mounts were gone, and I could see the road under my feet.
