Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Not all survived. Had a friend riding in the bed of a truck. He stood up when the truck was stopped, driver didn't see him stand up and took off. Friend fell out of the bed, landed on his head, lights out permanently.
Even with that, I was never one to say "let make it a law to prohibit riding in the bed of a truck"! Life comes with risks and you'll never make it out of life alive. Too many damn laws now. Not only is there "distracted driving", but "driving with an animal on your lap, driving while on your phone, on and on. All of that crap is covered under ONE law - distracted driving. But nope, too many people do crazy shit and ruin good times for everyone else.

 

I knew a guy that fell out of the bed of a truck,, and it caused him to be blind in one eye ,, I think alcohol was a factor .
But when you outlaw everything trying to save everyone,,, I believe you cause people to not learn by your actions and bad decisions ,,, and in the long run ,, we have a stupider society. Jmo

 

I had no idea there was a law against driving with an animal on your lap. I guess I'll have to just let him drive. Coleman just sits there looking out the window. He worries some folks at drive thru windows because they think he'll jump through the window. They're not used to seeing a cat that walks on a least.
