Know him? We kids tried to emulate him on our bikes. And we survived.

 

With four years Airforce and six years Navy, I early on earned my Master Buffer Operator license. Later working one summer at a U-haul shop, we were doing a major cleaning. A new kid was slamming the old buffer around, unable to control it, banging into shelves. I took it, and soon had that buffer doing it's job, with thumb and one finger controlling it, making it dance to my tune. I showed the kid how to make the buffer work, instead of him. He learned.

 

How about a 'spider hole'? Worked for Saddam... uh.... wait. No it didn't.

 

Actually, we do have about one week of winter. I actually had a pipe freeze and burst last winter. Tallahassee, in North Florida.
