I have moments when I think the same!

 

Three, maybe four Corvairs, three station wagons. I'm guessing the picture was taken about 1968.

 

It'd take some real jockeying to get some of them out for a test drive. Can't even get the door open.

 

We parked cars in tight like that on a lot out on the landing. I told #1 Son that I wanted to get this Mazda that was in the spot crooked moved over within inches of another car next to it. I meant roll it out and back it in closer. He put his shoulder into the fender and pushed it sideways in the sand. Not what I meant, but he got it done.

 

I had a 1963 Corvair back in my early driving days, fun ride. It had holes in the floorboard we dropped firecrackers through while joyriding. The floor shifter broke off in my hand once and I pounded a big bolt into the shifter rod, making the shift pattern backwards. The brakes failed while approaching a busy intersection, don't know how I lived through that one. Used two quarts of oil a week. God, I miss those days.
