Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Am I nine or sixty-four? Am I me? Am I 1200 miles from my childhood home, standing in a barren field in North Carolina, or do I start back where I was in 1970?

I'm staying away from Kent State University, lining up bookies for things I remember, and investing every penny I can earn in stocks and real estate I know will do well.

Can I alter things? I know where, when, and how friends will die, when events will happen, everything. Do I change things, or do I quietly follow my life as it was, with maybe just a couple secret advantages?

It's a deep thought exercise.

 

1970. I'd be just starting high school. Lots of things I would change, if possible.

 

A pastor interrupts a Sermon to ask 3 men in the front row:

"What would you want your loved ones to say as they are looking at you coffin?"

1st one: "That I was a good Father and Husband"

2nd one: "That I lived a good life!"

3rd one; "Look! He's moving!"
