Years ago ,, late 80s ,, was at a buddy's party 1 night. Everyone drinking ,, and we had a bunch of Boston butt's on the cooking pit ,, shoveling coals under the meat ,,spreading out the fire so it didn't burn. Well sometime around midnight,,1am , or so ,, I happened to notice I was all by myself by the fire ,, Everyone else I guess got drunk and passed out . So I stayed up keeping the heat on the meat ,, but keeping it at a good cooking temp.
Well about 08 the next morning,, a buddy came out ,, and I was in one of them folding chairs ,, and I woke up ,, just as he was walking over towards me and the firepit . Well that chair had folded up ,,, with me in it ,, it was like a freeking Teepee ,,, but that damned thing had me trapped in it ,, so yea , I personally know the predicament that chair can cause .
So we're talking about 40 yrs ago ,, and I've been thru a lot of shit since then ,,, but I never considered that that chair was my saving grace ,,,, ,,,,,,
