Truth! Exactly my reaction when I got my new position in my state IT department!

 

Marines are hard on gear. I saw a gate guard armed with shotgun thar looked just like that when I made my weekly package store run. (Evan Williams Egg Nog was marked down under $5)

That anodized finish just didn't hold up at all.
I think British "paint over park" might've held up better, but we are talking about Marines here.
