Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

I like it, ramp up production, make them more easily available and cheaper to the general public, in grocery and dept. stores like Walmart. Walmart already sells Mountain House FD food. I am one of those odd ducks who actually likes most MH and MRE food. Sometimes MRE cases can be bought online for as low as three bucks per meal. That's a bargain today. A Big Mac, fries and medium drink can run you ten bucks.

 

He is exactly correct, just like Welfare was supposed to provide temporary aid in time of need, not raising multiple generations on it, which I have seen happen! And of course, the federal income tax itself was supposed to be 'temporary' to help fund our First World War involvement.
Funny how when the goobermint gets involved, 'temporary' never is. It never ends.

 

I can certainly agree. I have many more "online friends" than real world friends. The anonimity of online allows us sometimes to discuss things troubling us that we cannot discuss with our closest "real friends". We can enjoy experiences vicariously that we cannot actually do in our real lives. I value my online friends, even if I cannot meet them FTF.

 

Still my alltime favorite decade, even considering the bad things. If I could travel back in time, I'd go back to 1970 and live it again, making some different choices, knowing what I know now.
