Trying this one today. It is just water and white vinegar. I do not have much hope that it will work but I need to try something.

The YA-9 took its first flight on 30 May 1972, with the second prototype flying on 23 August. Northrop's flight testing was successful, with the aircraft claimed to have "fighter-like" handling and to be a good weapon platform. A fly-off by USAF test pilots of the two competing designs took place between 10 October and 9 December 1972.[16] While the YA-9 fully met the USAF's requirements, the YA-10 was declared the winner on 18 January 1973. The use of the established TF34 engine rather than the untried F102 by the YA-10 may have been preferred by the Air Force, while Fairchild had no alternative work available and was unlikely to survive if it did not win the A-X contract

The Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot remains the mainstay of Russian shturmovoy (ground-attack) regiments. The type is broadly analogous to the US A-10 but has been matured into a more sophisticated warplane.

The T-8 prototype made its first flight on 22 February 1975, but type was comprehensively redesigned before series production was authorised. Su-25s flew some 60 000 combat sorties in Afghanistan and this experience led to a range of modifications applied to production aircraft from 1987. Su-25s were also heavily committed to support Russian interventions in Chechnya.

It works well enough, just takes timeand maybe a couple treatments. You might find it worthwhile unscrewing the shower head and using a small pot to submerge the shower head. Schooschle it around every now and then to stir up the chemical contact.

I hate burned fingers, trying to retrieve muffins or crumpets out of reach in a pop up toaster.....

    until I discovered bamboo tongs....

Reduces the risk of electrocution (unless wet) which is a nice added bonus!

Screw that. Real men use metal utensils.
Because your wife will bitch that you are going to burn her brand new bamboo tongs, they're not brand new because they were just purchased, it's because they have never been used.
The only way to not lose a battle like that is to avoid it.

Touching the heating element of a toaster with a metal object is as (un)likely to electrocute you as is touching the heating element of an electric stove. Toasters are quite benign electrically as a hazard - toaster fires are virtually all caused by letting crumbs build up in the clean out tray which then dry out and get ignited by an ember.
