Politicians indeed did not descend from a monkey. Maybe a donkey....

I believe they descended from the noble Ass, as hard working animal as the Lord ever put upon the earth...and their presence is an insult to said Ass.

You really need to get to the property owner early for permission to get netting over the dates before the birds ruin them.

My grandfather had one apricot and one plum tree in his back yard. Always went over to cover them with anti-bird netting. After haverst we had more jam and jelly than our family of 9 could eat in a year - even with the kids PB&J nearly everyday X 7 kiddos. The plums, jan, jelly and prunes were traded for all kinds of stuff, to include eggs.

We had our own chickens until the SOB behind us complain of the noise from the roosters.

There is so much food that goes to waste - just from urban landscaping, not to mention individuals with 'ornamental' trees. If you think about it too much, it'll drive ya nutz

We harvest 800-1200 pounds yearly from folks i can't believe the waste that is about !! & folks are SO UPSET on a BUMP or a MARK !! WTF !!
Kids as I see them & they are older !!!
