Why are there so many unreasonable and unrealistic rules or restrictions on mountains and other lands these days? Whats the harm of hunting, fishing, gathering wood or plants or camping on such land? I know it may not be true everywhere, but its true at Bakers Mountain. Bit scary to know you are expected to be unarmed yet can be attacked by bear, snakes or cougars or even the rut-crazed deer.

Yeah right. I know you are being sarcastic. However, I just cant wrap my head around how rangers or marshalls at bakers mountain expect you to depend on them when being charged by or encountering a boar, or other dangerous game. Pretty much bakers mountain has the mindset ''Get mauled, bitten, killed or torn up and hope we respond.'' coughs. bullshit.

On a non-sarcastic note, the Enviro-Nazis feel the you do not belong there and that it is perfectly acceptable for you to be mauled or eaten by those that do belong there. The wonderful Bureaucracies (sarcasim) Are full of those Enviro-Nazis and it gets worse every year. This drives all sorts of issues and not just mountains, look at the BLM issues were they are trying to get rid of the Cattle to preserve the natural critters (ironically, the Cattle and the ranchers efforts to get them water are exactly why the "Natural critters are there in the first place).

Read UN Agenda 21. That should clear it right up for you. As Garand69 said, HUMANS are not wanted there. That is why Red Ted Turner bought up a SINGLE chunk of land out west the size of Nevada (give or take a Bundy Ranch or two) and now there can be NO human habitation there.

I believe that you can carry a concealed handgun... Generally they are concerned with weapons due to the uncertain backstops in the park due to changes in altitude etc... I'm not sure it's based on any UN agendas... the tree huggers on the other hand I can't speak for...

Actually, a Citizen can carry a weapon in MOST, US National Parks, as they National Park Service was about to be sued, after the SCOTUS MacDonald decision... The Park Service decided to get ahead of the Suit, and dropped those Regulations, from their Rules...

Americans are common slaves to the fascist oligarchy which controls the country.
Most still falsely believe they are free.
This is how absolute power continues to exist.

The restrictions aren't on the land but on the people. It's just one more way for the government to make sure we know who owns the country, and it sure ain't "We the Peasants". Specifically it's a message to non urban, non liberals - the people who keep clinging to that Constitution thingy like it means something. Just keep smoking your dope, eating your free Doritos, and ask your buddy if he self identifies as a girlie too,and all will be OK.

Really? show me the regulation that prohibits this? I hate it when people don't post sources. Its must more fear mongering if you can't back it up with sources. Sorry guys :blah:[violin][fnny][CRC]

It's okay @Ganado --some people have to be reminded of their place. Some dudes aren't dudes, and some women...are awesome.
