What would be worse than a "B" movie? This was it.

There's nothing wrong with many B movies, some of which are cinematographic classics. Typically they were cheaply made with minimal resources and funding, and without A list actors. Many fine actors, directors and production personnel got their start in B Movies.

As to Amerigeddon.....Written, Directed and acted by Mike Norris.....

Spawn of Chuck Norris.....nuff said. :ROFLMAO: Wooden acting seems to run in the family...;)

Plot - A dire warning of a wake up call of what might be our future when a globalist terrorist organization aligned with the United Nations disables the United States power grid and institutes Martial Law. It will take a dedicated family of patriots armed with strong survival skills and the remains of the Second Amendment to save America and reclaim its freedom.

Some of the viewers reviews were *brutal*
"With a total production budget of only $387.14, one can understand why the best screenwriter they could muster was the winner of the "What I Did During Summer Vacation" essay in Mrs. Magillicutty's 3rd grade class at Hubert Humprhey Elementary"

It can't be worse than the more recent flicks of the notorious Steven Seagal.

    Trailer here

    Hits every prepper porn note
    New world order
US Army shooting folks for weapons possession
    empty stores
    evil capitalist puppet master

    cats and dogs living together.

Got my copy last week. Although it too near three weeks from the time I ordered to arrive.

I thought it was a good "What If" movie and it also makes you think about how bad it could get.

Not quite: I think they missed evil homosexual transgender angry atheists.....but they could have been closeted among the conniving liberal Democrat quislings. We'll probably never know.

Nice quotes from Rotten Tomatoes, DK (y) It made watching the trailer worthwhile. :D

The preview looks good. If it does stimulate a thought or two then it would be worth watching. I will wait till the library gets it.

It can be downloaded off the internet....licitly, or illicitly.....I'm not sure what would be the greater offence....downloading a pirate copy, or watching it.

My usual practice with watching cruddy films at the cinema....is to pay for a ticket for a good film (preferably an Australian production) playing at the same session time in the cineplex, and then sneak into the adjoining cinema to watch something like "Left Behind" or "God is not Dead" instead. It means that I can satisfy my masochistic viewing without supporting the sadists that write, direct, act and produce it. [reddevil]

I think the plot sounds like a good one, typical good vs. evil with some 'think about this' moments, but didn't have the experience and money to pull it off. I go to a theater that only charges $3 as my penny-pinching Scottish blood comes out in me when they want to charge me $20 to sit in a theater but for 3 bucks I might watch it. I say might because I cannot tolerate bad acting and while I do have $3 to spare I would not waste my time if the acting was truly horrid. Frankly, I seldom go to the theater anymore and prefer to rent the DVD so I can drink a beer with my feet up at home while viewing. I think theaters are on their way out and will be a thing of the past just like Book stores soon.

and the helo fighting thing was when I had to turn it off... just could not watch it further...

they had some named actors and seemed to me the named ones did ok but the rest was... well... sorry

    Watched it last night..

    Premise was good
    Script was OK
    Acting was spotty
Some of SFX were decent, others were terrible

I paid full price to support the filmmakers in continuing this sort of endeavor. That being said, objectively speaking in a brick and mortar store I would only pay $3-5 for it.
