Hi y'all, I am ISplatU's wife. As you can guess I have 5 children ages 5-16 and I homeschool them. My interest in joining this group is to learn more about self sustainable living and teaching real life skills to my kids (as I learn them myself!). I garden. I am a farm girl stuck in a subdivision. In the next week or two a friend is going to help the kids and I to build a Chicken Tractor that will hold about 4 or 5 hens. I guess that all for now. Looking forward to getting to know y'all.
A chicken tractor is like a small movable chicken house/cage without a floor, so they can scratch around,eat bugs, weeds and fertilize at the same time. I posted a reply with a link that has lots of pictures of them, but I am not sure if I can post links yet.
