Obviously, @Bear has the greatest use of Altoids tins ever, but I thought some of you might like this idea as well. Just a heads up that credit cards, cards like social insurance ( for us Canucks) cards etc all fit neatly into an Altoids mint tin. Now, I don't know if it prevents RFID readers, but for me it's a great way to stow all those "loyalty" cards and stuff I don't carry everyday but occasionally need. Added bonus is...it looks like a can of Altoids. I did find that on some cards I had to clip the corners back just a bit, to make them easier to get out. What else do you use these tins for??
You can carry all the .22lr ammo you could use for a weekend of rabbit or squirrel hunting in a shirt pocket sized tin. A pretty complete fishing kit can fit in a second one.
I use mine for small drill bits and accessories instead of them rolling around in the tool box.... A P-Touch labeler or sharpie helps to identify what is in each of them.
There was once a popular mech or sci. arty for a radio or an antenna don't rightly recall I have the mag just gotta find ," its somewhere in here the wife says"....
That would be alka seltzer. They are so stupid they will eat cigarette butts if you throw it to them.
Lady at our church devours them and gives me the tins. Usually give them to folks at our gatherings. Next one is 2-3-4 May. Should be warm enough to take a dip in the lake---lol---not likely, that thing is chilly in mid summer.
Altoids do not cause a gas reaction, and sesgulls can't belch. That is why the seagulls burst. I wonder if they would like ghost peppers....
The funny thing is, I pictured Kellory bubble wrapping each round as he put them in the tin to prevent noise..
No, but vertical in a shirt pocket, inside a jacket, and wrapped with a wide rubber band, it makes no decernable noise. You could have a full set of snare wires in another tin.
