Not intending to be bellicose, however, since the elimination of Civics class in Public education, many of you seem to believe that we are a democracy and if enough of you shout, we can just change things to suit your agenda. This is not the case, we are a Democratic Republic and it works different that that, We also have our Constitution and it's Bill of Rights. This was not granted to us by any government, as many of you seem to believe. It was Written by "We, the People" and was given to the government sort of as an employment contract and if they don't follow it strictly, we can throw their sorry ass out just like we did King George.
The Bill of Rights were written to clearly state our Rights as a Free citizen of this Nation and defined as inalienable, or not transferable to another or capable of being repudiated, This was done to prevent Government and/or a loud vocal population, even well-intentioned, from being able to deny these Rights. That is the basis our Great Nation was founded upon and is exactly and specifically the Freedom we all say our Nation stands for and our Soldiers die to defend. It is also the Same Constitution that every soldier swears oath to protect and defend against All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic. Think about this a minute before you go trying to change this Constitution, this wonderful, powerful document....We are well armed and we will honor this oath. This is not something that you and your elected mouth-pieces can trifle with. Be warned.

And the turd in the punch bowl is that our rights mean nothing if we remain silent and indifferent. Sooner or later, we are going to have to exercise our right to throw out government and install new guards for our future, just as the Declaration of Independence outlines. And since all of government truly is a fascist corporate oligarchy, peacefully protesting won't do a damn thing.

Seacowboys, everything you say is true, including throwing out civics in our education and destroying our beliefs in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The powers that be, whoever they may be, have rewritten history, demonized our founders beliefs as racist, control our public media, divided us into easily controlled groups and made being a patriotic American a crime. It didn't work out well in Hitler's Germany, nor Stalin,s Russia, but they believe with the new tools they can make it work in Obummas-Hillarys USA. We can protect a wild life reserve, a national forest, a pond in a swamp very well, American soldiers, large buildings, assemblies of people, that is a different question. It is becoming ever more obvious that something in the process of making us an American is failing. We are losing our sense of being a nation and are becoming a collection of competing groups and those entering our nation, legal or illegal, are remaining separate and are raising their children in their old culture and they are not becoming American. They are "home grown terrorists" and fight for the ideals and priorities of their parents homeland, not ours, and claim that is wrong for us to wish them to join us. Could go on for hours, but we all know that on this forum, apologies to our non believing friends, we are preaching to the choir. None are so blind as they who do not wish to see, and it is very difficult to have a true conversation with someone who has been "educated" in our public schools for 12 to 18 years, listens to our "rap" etc music, watches our TV, and lives in a society that makes a cultural hero out of the latest pop star to overdose . It is no accident that the latest attack is on what little content of a classical education is left in our schools or on the individuals who do not have the required beliefs. I have reached the point that I no longer know which forum to post in. There is a blurring of things around me and politics, tinfoil hat, current events, religion, prep, etc have all seemed to merge into one big interrelated blob. I am having a lot of problems in trying to figure out what is true and what is propaganda and the information I receive is being massaged by experts.

@duane , You have hit the nail on the head and pointed to the solution. It is a house divided. Hitting the nail on the head, drives the nail but a nail is useless in rotten wood, substantial material must be joined as any structure is only as strong as it's weakest link. The sexually deviant united over same sex marriage and which bathrooms they can poop in and the massacre will ultimately work to further their agenda, never letting a perfectly good crisis go unused. Being separated into groups to allow easier control is spot on the money. Let's blame the evil muslims, never having a clue what their real agenda is or even what is on their minds when the slip on a vest of semtex and walk into a crowed cafe. The is nothing left to centrally unite any of us to a significant degree. WW ll, we united, but were and have been sold a bill of goods as to why we did. If we had followed the money, our history books would be quite different. Our Constitution is a strong rallying point, it ultimately has to be ground-zero.Bit-coin is a start at taking control back to value rather than faith. As long as they can keep us "reacting" rather than pro-acting, we're spinning our wheels.

And to see what the rotten wood is made of, google " generation snowflake." A re-building is needed, replace the rotten structural parts with some spines.

I think we've finally reached the tipping point or darn close for anyone who's awake and aware. The last half of 2016 is going to be a roller coaster ride.

One of the most important dates in the history of the United States may fall in the last half of 2016, depending on whether of not a Presidential election occurs in 2016, and who keeps or attains the Office thereafter.

Some people think that Nobama will declare Martial Law rather than allow Trump to win the Presidency or Hillary to lose it. Or himself to lose it.

And some think that if that happens it will precipitate a Second Civil War that will encompass a dozen different racial, religious, and class wars at the same time.

The War Against Northern Aggression was not a civil war, per se: It was a war of conquest wherein the United States of America sought to take military and political control of the sovereign nations that seceded from their Union. But it's called the Civil War, lest the truth of History be revealed to the descendants of the conquered States.

The Second Civil War, if it happens, may very well be a true civil war wherein the purpose of conflict is for one side (the Outraged Citizenry) to take and keep control of Washington DC and the government of the United States.

While the 98 other sides take the opportunity to settle some old scores.

If that happens, it'll be a train-wreck of colossal proportion. Millions will die while our enemies fix popcorn and party in front of their flat screens.

My secret hope, if Nobama does indeed try to entirely set aside the Constitution, is for a Praetorian Solution rather than a civil war.

The Emperor Caligula was assassinated in AD41 by his Praetorian Guard, ostensibly to protect the Roman Republic from a tyranny grown too intolerant to endure.

It certainly helped the Roman Republic in that instance (if History is to be believed) but it's also clear in hindsight that they didn't do it often enough.

Maybe in these more modern times a tyrant can be deposed by a warmer and fluffier means than cold steel in the guts. Like a set of handcuffs and a trial for treason, maybe.

    I could vote for that.

Some 13 or so Roman Emperors were murdered by the Praetorian Guard......

Category:Roman emperors murdered by the Praetorian Guard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Praetorian Guard were also instrumental in the appointment of a number of their preferred candidates, over the centuries post CE, for the position of Roman Emperor. The Praetorian's assassination victims, and the Praetorians' choices of Imperial successors, generally reflected what was in the best interests of the Praetorian Guard, more so than the Roman Empire....The Emperor Constantine wisely disbanded the Praetorian Guard.

Beware what you wish for....the Praetorian option occasionally resulted in a more effective replacement for a murdered predecessor, but not necessarily....sometimes civil wars would erupt when opposing factions of the army/Praetorian guard competed to install their own preferred imperial candidates. Instead of strengthening the Roman Empire, The Praetorian Guards' interference in Roman Politics generally weakened the Roman Empire, particularly in the latter period when the Roman Empire in the West began to disintegrate......

List of Roman emperors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In a contemporary context, it would be as if a consortium of the Secret Service, US Navy Seals and Delta Force....decided whether or not a President could continue to exercise executive power, or be summarily executed, at their whim, and THEY choose the replacement...to suit their themselves....The Praetorian solution would not guarantee a democratic republic, it may be a way an effective way of installing military dictatorships though..

Yes....but that experimental opportunity was lost at the expiry of G.Dubya's term as president....the 'merican praetorian guard had a whole 8 years to try their hand at palace revolution style regime change....who knows, if the next incumbent screws 'merica sideways...we may yet see how that might play out. ;)
