The design appears to be a modified from the 2 angled American Tanto. As it is close to the spine the point of the westernized Tanto is thick which makes it quite strong. Some monkeys are knife makers and would be a much better source than me. Tanto is designed to penetrate ancient armor and (with good grip) modern car doors are a lot thinner. Finding a car door to pierce is more of a problem than doing it.
When I smell spaghetti, I think "Yum; Spaghetti!" When a dog smells it, he smells salt, meat, tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms, oregano, pasta, and the water it was cooked in. You can damage his sense of smell with an irritant but you cannot disguise a smell from them by covering it with something else.
