Thanks for posting. Great that there are ways to try and save folks from an OD. The very sad fact is that this heroin thing is out of control even in small town America there is a place around town who will give away free Naloxone AKA Narcan many LEOs are being issued Narcan.
Unfortunately, the problem goes beyond heroin, plenty of opioid prescription meds such as oxycontin that are in many homes.
In low doses, it is now used for pain control. 4mg at night for me, you may differ. Even some cancer treatments use it. VA went from Naproxen to Oxycodone in 3 months. I got to liking it, so I stopped the Oxy and tried the low dose Naloxone. Seems to do well without being high. Wife found it worked well with her Lupus.
