Im sure this will make them all the more thrilled by home births. Kind of adds to the devide between if its a good thing or bad thing for the kids to do like one couple I met that had several school age kids (home schooled) and none of them have birth certificates or social security numbers and obviously no DNA on file. Could make it easy for them if they want to live under the radar but a massive PITA to get lisences and so on later in life.

Good thing I can't have kids. Would never allow my newborn to have any of that done. Kind of off/on topic, A buddy of mine who works for the state dept, told me awhile back that most hospitals that are near military bases, insert tracking chips into the soldiers and some citizens which house dna info and also watch your private activities. The gov't reason for this is to track "in state terrorists."
