I've tried in vain to find those little machined aluminum couplers for repairing CB coax, (RG-59 type), that has been cut, usually by car doors and trunk lids! As was mine recently! No can find them critters! Also, I've been searching high and low for some OLD radio shack "blue" do it yourself books on antennas! (early 70's) Still searching for single-side-band radios, but they seem to have become dinosaurs? Local searches here turned up strange results: Radio Shack carries very little these days having anything to do with RADIOS! Local radio stores, such as "Bronco I", are gone! 1 week ago I found a scanner, "discone" style/type antenna, but that too has disappeared! It was rated up to 2000 watts and was very large! Now,.... I'm ready for the tin foil hat! I may be PARANOID, but what the hey? Whats goin' on???? Bill
