    LOL...yup...very calm, quiet and obedient dog...no barking, affectionate, listens and obeys "NO", likes to play fetch, curios, calm when bathing, VERY clean, no dog smell, urine doesn't stink...I mean, just perfect house dog! From what I read, Samoyeds are not very good home guardians, they are a shepherd breed, but when guests came this evening, he attacked them as soon as they set foot through the door! We were like astonished! I had to pick him up before he ate their heels! I apologized to the guests, naturally, but I just loved that reaction from him!
    I'm planning to get him an AK next...make him a real guard dog... :D

    Thanks for sharing Q! I just love watching him grow!



    Bane - I had a Samoyed who was an excellent guard dog. Would back a man into the corner and hold him there. Stronger than ever imagined. Could run like the wind. Loyal, loving. Great dog!

    Nice looking Puppy... i miss my Irish wolf hound "Judge" died 2 years ago haven't replaced him yet... May in the near future need a good farm dog...

    What a gorgeous dog!! I have one, Jackie ...

    Austerlitz German Shepherd Dogs: Jackie v.d. Kinzigau

    She is absolutely the best companion anyone could ask for. 12 this year and is starting to have trouble getting around ... back injury from competing. She can still chase the neighbor's stinking poodle out of the yard so we are good ... :D

    Have had a couple of other males from the same breeder who were great dogs too. Shadow (we had to have him put to sleep for medical issues at 5 years old -- way too soon) and Biscuit (what a name for a GSD, huh?) who I gave to a friend. He is a lot happier in a home with kids than he was here with us old folks.

    I have always been a dog lover but once you have had a GSD there just is no other, IMHO.

    One of the SO's co-workers has a bomb dog who came from Czech. He is a beautiful dog but it is his personality and intelligence that steal the show. Said co-worker is real quick to admit that Bullet makes him look a whole lot smarter than he really is ... ;)

    Well today, Halloween 2010 was Hunters first time seeing snow, he loved it, we had a great time here are some pics.
