Found a Poly-Tech M1-A yesterday, that I just couldn't pass on. Reintroducing a semi 7.62 back into my fold has been a goal for a long time, especially in the M-1A type.
First thing with the Chinesse M14, Please have the Headspace checked. This was a major problem when they were imported about 15 years ago. Other than that they can be some very accurate shooters.
Soon as I bring it home, I will take pics and post them, as well as give it a complete check, including headspace. Probably going to repark it, and am looking into getting some old school synthetic stocks, to paint, bed, and play with. Looking into getting more mags and ammo of course. Everything I have loaded is for my 788 and not crimped, so it will be time to purchase in bulk. I'm dying to bark it as you all can imagine. When I walked into work Saturday a.m. it was sitting at the end of the rack............ beckoning.
