Meh...it's just a social media echo chamber for conservatives / Christian conservatives who need their beliefs protected and unchallenged in a digital glass house....just the place for delicate little petals. I note that part of the registration process involves declaring one's gender...of course it only provides for the biblically approved male/female binary options. LMFAO.
I dumped Twitter because it bored me. Moved over to Gab after FB banned me for the umpteenth time for making and/or posting jokes that were apparently considered hate speech, the latest one being for this... Being the delicate flower I am, I raced for the safety of an environment where I could post shit without having it yanked because someone got triggered over it. I'm not even sure how they find out about my offensive posts, given I have less than 20 people friended, but no problem. We can post our gaming commentary, political snark, and random blather somewhere else.
Sorry Chel there is XY and XX unless yer one of the very rare anomalies with 46,XX or 46,XY hermaphroditism. Plenty of options below fer ya to choose from but the DNA does not lie and does not support most of them. Once again, the English language supplies more ways and words than needed to cover the bases. "Queer" covers all the not m nor f descriptions, and in the not at all recent past was used by most of the variations self descriptively. Seems like everyone wants a special tag, "See? I exist and am different, therefore require different (special?) treatment." Now, will someone please tell me how to tell whether one of these "cis" things wants to be called "them" or something else? I'll be going straight to hell before I ask a stranger what they want to be called while passing pleasantries in a checkout line.
