New member looking forward to learning

That makes me all the happier to be here. I have two Airborne friends and one of them is currently a Coastie I served alongside with at a heavy wx small boat station in NJ. He’s on the same school list as me waiting to ship. He was very proud the day the CG put through the paperwork for him to be able to wear his jump wings on his uniform.

I only went as far up as Barnegat Light but we heard Manasquan’s chatter on the SAR frequencies all the time. I was in AC, we did a lot of our best SAR off Brigantine Inlet and Great Egg Inlet.

@Oddcaliber thanks! I had a really good squid-turned-coastie buddy at my last station too. He was a prior corpsman and from what I understand is planning to go to Avionics Electrical Technician school as well.
