This is why the vast majority of gun control is enforced on minorities in cities by racist democrats.
When according to the ATF over a 15 year period more than 90% of the people they locked up for gun related crimes are minorities, only 1 or 2 not so nice conclusions can be drawn.

 

Curry, Roosevelt, Lincoln and quay counties have all organized the sheriffs and said that they are 2A sanctuary cities and will not enforce NM specific gun laws.
Such as universal background checks, Mag capacity limits, assault weapons ban, ect.

 

Eddy County has jumped on board the 2A sanctuary ship.

 

Or they could enforce the laws on the books before making new ones.

 

Well our soon to be one term idiot governor signed the bill into law mandating all firearms sales go through a dealer. That was apparently March 8th.
There was a gun show that weekend.
The sheriff was there and the non FFL sellers were not doing background checks.
