Hi all, I have been into preparedness for 3 years now. I've started as a typical prepper but evolved into an urban homesteader with a strong focus (obsession?) for everything self-reliance. Lately my efforts have been on food DIY'ing-making jerky, beer, rice wine and bacon next month. I make my own soap as well and so on. I always have lots of projects to do and skills to acquire. I am getting into bushcrafting as well as a plan B with a couple of courses booked for next month. I might be a monkey but not a one trick pony. However my end-game would be to tap-out of the rat race and have my own homestead in the countryside but that's work in progress.
