OBVIOUSLY AMERICA IS THE PLACE TO LIVE.....AND DIE: !!!!
It seems that every couple of days New Orleans loses one of its treasuredENTREPRENEURS.

Let’s get the players straight before we go on with this..

LARMONDO "FLAIR"ALLEN His Companion: Kawanner Armstrong
    His Sons : Christian Allen
    Kwan Allen
    Larmondo Allen, Jr.

    His Daughters: Deidra Allen
    Larmenshell Allen
    Lamonshea Allen
    Larmomdriel Allen
    Larmerja Allen
    Korevell Allen

AT AGE 25 - He had 9 Children.
    His Father: Burnell
ThompsonHis Mother: Esther AllenHis Stepfather: Bruce Gordy
    His Brothers: Burnell
    ThompsonEdgar ThompsonWil WillisDanta Edwards
    Reshe Edwards
    Mattnell
    AllenBurnell AllenLester Allen
    His Sisters: Shannail Craig
    Lekiksha
    ThompsonGwendolyn Carter
    Jessica
    WillisKatina Gordy
    Grandparents: Delors
AllenJ.C. AllenAnna Laura ThompsonWill ThompsonGOT THE ABOVE ALL STRAIGHT?
    ********************
NOW, THE REST OF THE STORY He was 25 and had 3 sons and 6 daughters. NINEwelfare recipients collecting $950 each.....That equals$8,550.00a month !!!
Now addFood Stamps,Free medical, Free school lunches, and on and on
    Do the math...$102,000.00+/year.
Anyone out there, sittin' on their butt while readingthis e-mail, making
    A HUNDRED GRAND doing nothing?
Now that, to me, is a real Entrepreneur.
(ALSO, BECAUSE OF THEIR FATHERS DEATH,
ALL OF THE KIDS WILL COLLECTSOCIAL SECURITY
    UNTIL THEY ARE 18)
    EVEN BETTER... IF "FLAIR'S"
    THIRTEEN BROTHERS & SISTERS
    FOLLOWED HIS ENTREPRENEURIAL
    STRATEGY - THAT'S AN ADDITIONAL
    $1.3 MILLION PER YEAR
    BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE!
IF ALL THIRTEEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS CAN
DUPLICATE HIS FEAT OF 9 WELFARE STRATEGISTS
THAT BREEDS 117 NEW RECIPIENTS COLLECTING $100,000/YR!!... OR AN ADDITIONAL
    $11,700,000.00 PER YEAR...
    - THAT'S ONE FAMILY
And THAT is why this once-great country is
    BANKRUPT!!
    ANY QUESTIONS?

I never realised how many bleeding heart socialist progressives there are on this site....it's touching the care and compassion shown for the grieving kinsfolk of the long deceased LARMONDO "FLAIR"ALLEN. The concern that Larmondo's family will not be left impoverished by his death is remarkable. Given that his untimely death occurred in 2004 and some 9 years have passed...it should be possible to discover whether Larmondo's brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews have equaled or bettered the late Larmondo's fecundity record. Have they lived up to the Amway style multi-level marketing business plan outlined in the OP's spam e-mail?

Ah.....where would we be in this world if we couldn't affirm our own superiority over others without despising those whom we feel are contemptible....or better still....beneath our contempt.

New Orleans: The city known as "The Big Easy," and it's easy to see that being an "entrepreneur" with government benefits can be a "fertile" proposition for those city dwellers.

Chell, it it true that this is an email that has floated around the internet for a bit, and Larmondo has indeed been deceased since 2004, but there is also way too much truth in the email to simply dismiss it. America is bleeding from not a thousand, but tens of thousands of cuts in the form of worthless takers - those who do not contribute, nor have ever contributed, in any way to our society; though no mental or physical handicap prevented them from doing so. They seem to have been born with their hand out.

And, while it may not be politically correct to say so, I DO feel superior to some others within my society; namely those worthless takers mentioned above, and I'm good with that. ;)

Sorry Chell, they get no sympathy from me,only distaste and disrespect. These aren't people who use our help when needed while getting back on their feet. These are people who make a business out of taking from me(and those who are truly in need) to live without a single worthwhile contribution to society. He's gone and good riddance. Still way too many like him and his family around. Wouldn't shed a single tear if all the useless takers where to pass from this world right this minute.

I have always thought that if you are on welfare, foodstamps, ect and you do not have a job, you should be required to put in 8 hours of work for the gov. cleaning highways, janitor for a state office building, whatever. This would cut down on the moochers and for the ones that did need it, they would earn it and be able to have a little pride in themselves knowing that their work equals money.

I agree. I'd much rather see a program like the WPA than just a straight handout. I wouldn't mind my tax dollars going to that. And if I happened to ever be on the receiving end, I'd much rather work for mine.

I hope that email is a joke or hoax.

No one in their right mind could support that kind of welfare milking and honestly say there is nothing wrong with it.

I didn't see a date on that anywhere, Chell, but that makes the numbers even worse. so these are in 2004 dollars, which were worth more than today's dollars. That makes the theft even larger. Our welfare system is parasitic, not symbiotic. It is not an earned income, or a gift, it's a sop to the weak, for those who can not take care of themselves. But that is not how it is used and abused. With each added child, the incentive to not work increases. This is Child Abuse, Chell, in it's simplest form. The child is being used as a place holder. Mandatory birth control should be the rule for welfare recipients. If you are bringing more children into the world, without the means to care for them, You are abusing them. And the child ALWAYS pays the price. read more here : A Texan's Answer to Welfare : Off Topic • Deer & Deer Hunting Forums

Hoax or not, I'm sure it is overstated to make the point that welfare can be self perpetuating. Very ungood.

The Civilian Conservation Corps and the Works Projects Administration of Roosevelt's day got us on the road out of the depression. It put money into the hands of men and women who could not find jobs anywhere. They were required to send most of their pay back to their families. The programs also caused lots of suppliers and other contractors to have money coming in. People were glad to have something to do and have a bit of money for a change. My father worked in the mountains of N.C. building roads and other projects in a CCC camp. He ended up a cook and had a relatively cushy job till he was drafted into the Army's corp of engineers.

Actually, make that millions of cuts. When I was in high school (30 years ago), I went to school with a girl that had 12 siblings, all younger than her, her mother wasn't married, and her mother was on welfare. She had grants for college, and planned on making something of herself. She and her brothers and sisters were all honor students who couldn't stand their mother's lifestyle (living off her kids). The last I knew, the woman (my friend's mother) was still living in the same town, but in a small apartment, since all of her children had grown and left her. The real irony of the situation? My friend's mother had a Bachelor's in business administration, and had actually figured out that she could make more money having kids than she could working as an executive. This was in the early 80s. Go figure.

I went into the California Conservation Corps right out of high school. Of course, I was sixteen at the time, but it gave me a good appreciation for hard work. I spent a year refurbishing public lands around San Luis Obispo, in all kinds of weather, and even fought a couple of brush fires. Hard work, hazardous at times, damned uncomfortable, but what fun!
