My newest acquisition a S&W SW40F. Paid $350 for it. Not exactly what I wanted, though better something than nothing.
There was a Ruger 9mm, Taurus 9mm and the S&W 40. The Ruger and Taurus were thick and if I try to hit the mag release, I had to turn the pistol a little sideways. I didn't like that. The grip on the 40 was thin enough though I would have preferred a "rougher" or detailed grip. It feels right to me. I have never fired a 40, so that test is still to come. I may change to glow sights or add a laser. Don't know yet. Will have to find ammo and mags. The mags where I got it were $41 each.
I will indeed. Must become one with the firearm. It's as I told the seller. If you can't hit your target with it, there is no sense owning it. Practice as much as possible.
The versatility of this specific tool is astonishing, anyway. It is a hole punch, a drill, a hammer (requires accuracy), a hedge trimmer (requires unlimited ammunition), it is a home alarm system, a signaling device, it brings peace of mind, alleviates tension, and calms the nerves. Simply Amazing....
Sorry, I thought this thread was about something else. Like the time I was wearing my Kilt and was asked what was wore under there. I said nothing, it's all good as new. Can't say it is the best looking pistol out there, but I don't own it and like you said, the gun you got beats the gun you want but don't have.
