Today while I was driving, I was listening to the NRA radio and they were talking about a new range/training facility in Tulsa, Ok. It is going to be the largest in the U.S. with all sorts of competitions from the Top Pro's shooting raceguns, to the State and Federal Law Enforcement matches, to the police, and to the ordinary citizen shooting matches and courses. This place is supposed to be fully open in May I think, and it is going to be state of the art. One of the course's they offered was a three day course over handguns, medical work out in the field, and mapping, planning alternate routes. The CEO of it said "after you take this course, you wouldn't be sitting on a bridge somewhere in New Orleans waiting for help." It almost sounds like a short course on bugging-out. I would be very interested. Anyone else????????
It is still a while away, but the Bug-out course sounds like it was made for Survival Monkeys. Plus, the owner of the course said that he is going to offer courses in different parts of the country, not just Tulsa.
Sweet keep me posted. I have some traveling planned for the summer, so I will try to budget it in. Between that and getting a Siaga 12 at all cost...I will be strapped.
Re: New Tulsa Range and Training Center, the largest in the Occasionally, a guy that teaches at one of the big schools runs a one day handgun school here locally. If there's one coming up, I'll holler at y'all.
