I've been making knives one year now and figured that I need my own site. I had a site piggy-backed onto another one but it's a pain asking someone to update it so I went and got my own domain name and hosting. It is NOT dial-up friendly as I don't know how to make thumnails instead of full-size pics yet. C'mon, nobody still has dial-up anyway, right? Check it out! www.dlknives.com
I think I figured a way to make it faster - the way I built it was with templates from the host company but they have no provision for thumbnails. But, I have all these pics already hosted at Imagecave and later will work on using thumbnails from those. Shouldn't have to host them elsewhere but if it works I'll do it!
V-man, it isn't too bad at all for DU. Keep going with it as is. I like the layout as well, not so damn busy that the background detracts from the product.

Not to bad. Anytime theres a lot of pics it takes a bit to load but with the smaller pics you used that are big enouph to see well but not life size or what ever and keeping it broken into multiple pages the way it is it makes it so it actualy will load at least without takeing all night so its not bad at all compared to a lot of sites for dial up.
