I love seeing these kind of things. If we are to continue to enjoy the shooting sports in this nation, one of the most important things we can do is introduce the next generation to it. This was a FCI event in Waco, Texas recently. I love the pic of the girl shooting her very own .50 caliber!! Too cool. We had two new members of our junior class shoot in this match for the first time and both of them equated themselves very well. Stonewall Woodward (AR) won the Junior Class and he also shot the smallest group for Hunter Class. His group was 8.25" inches and don't you know he's going to be a strong competitor. Michelle Chestnut (TX) was shooting her brand new Windrunner rifle for the very first time and placed 2nd in Junior Class. Michelle was challenged on the first day of shooting by ammunition that her dad had loaded and the primers were not seated deep enough to go off on the first try. Very nerve wracking, but she hung in there and completed her class by keeping everything on paper. All the shooters at the match were very pleased to see both Junior Class competitors and it was an honor to have them shooting with us. fficeffice" /><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com Stonewall Woodward (AR) receiving award for smallest group in Hunter Class Michelle Chestnut (TX) shooting her new Windrunner-yes, it's hers!
