Actually, I learned this one in the Boy Scouts over 50 years ago.

Another (even easier) method is rubbing the top of the can on a large rock or concrete and wearing off the edge…top comes right off.
I want to see that Russian Guy, try that on a 1/2# Can.... .....

this is one of the reasons I have a few of those p-38's throughout my gear stash, and I carry an old beat up folder knife...
If that was a can of ravioli, they'd be all smashed an stuff. Who wants to eat deformed ravioli?
