I ask the question "what are you trying to acheve with a no knock warrant in a drug case? to one of our local swat type police.He replied they did not want to give time for the perp to destroy the evidence.I then ask in your antidrug program what is your goal? Next reply..to remove drugs from the street. I then said ,so what is the use of a no knock ,just drive up to the house march out surround the structure knock on the door they destroy the drugs for you and you have the added advantage that noone gets hurt even if it is the wrong address......WELL all he did then was look puzzled and walk away.
