I was floored when reading this and wanted to make sure as many saw this as possible...I'm Independent not Republican but what this confirms to me is that there is no middle ground with these types - seriously - the thought and possibility of compromise needs to be put aside. It is an 'Us vs.Them' mentality whether we want it or not and they are willing to do anything to overwhelm and overcome us. Their ideology is almost religious in this regard. They really do truly hate us and, I am starting to believe, see us as evil and they are the righteous in their fight against us... A top lawyer for CBS said she is “not even sympathetic” to victims of the Las Vegas shooting because “country music fans often are Republican,” when discussing the tragic mass shooting that occurred in Las Vegas late Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs [sic] will ever do the right thing,” Geftman-Gold wrote in a now-deleted message that was first reported and captured by The Daily Caller.

Geftman-Gold continued: “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc [sic] country music fans often are Republican gun toters [sic].”

Well I was just reading the thread about how why can't we all get along? Why if we just see the other persons side we will all sing "Kume by Yah" and love one another. I thought that was stupid then, I think that is stupid now. These people hate us, hate America, hate freedom and hate everything that made America great. No amount of "seeing my side" will change their view of unreasoning hatred and vitriol. My view of people trying to kill me doesn't change with the weather either. Neither does my view of right and wrong, truth, justice and honesty.

As far as SeeBS, that is what I see too. Bland "what's the number Kenneth" Blather, who is insane and invented lies about Bush that he babbled about on TV and claimed was true, or might be true if enough people believe it if he said it, which amounted to the same thing in his mind. When fired he gets a "journalism" award from Jennings for lying to the public and inventing crapola to spew. No amount of "seeing my side" will change their point of view, and my viewing their side would probably end up with nothing good happening when my brain explodes from the lies.

Remember Walter Cronkite in his bio admits he is (or was if dead) a card carrying member of the Communist Party. Just go to your library and get the book and read it for your self.

This is not a war of "we won, now back to normal", this is a war of extermination of the other side. At least every commie (and I live in commie central) has stated they want us ALL dead and there are no half measures. You are either one of them or you are dead. Period. When I want to see what the enemy wants, I read what they put out for their own, not the lies they put out for the rest of us. I don't care who is is, LaRaza, Demonrat Party, American Communist Party, Black Panthers, et.,etc., etc., just go read what they put out for their own and see if that is what they put out for the stupid to read.

 

@Legion489 I guess I am just starting to come to the realization that this is indeed a 'war of extermination', in more ways than just physical but also in thought, deed, morals - you name it - anything we represent or hold dear... This is worse than fighting radical Islamists...and much more dangerous.

Yes, if only it was that easy... This mostly is a different war, a guerilla war for the 'hearts and minds' of the masses, mostly the gullible young, with the intent of forever changing the country into...into I know not. I honestly don't. Hell, who are we kidding, it already has changed the country into something that certainly isn't America. The country is splintered into factions, fatal fractures, that are all for themselves and only themselves and you can't even look at someone for fear of being sued, called a racist, douse with political garbage, and/or preyed on by our own government. I look around and cannot help but believe 'the great experiment' has truly failed but is it the country that failed or democracy that failed the country. I suppose it matters not because the fairy tale is over and this rubbish of "Make America Great Again" can never happen, you can't reverse this because the factions don't give a damn about the country only themselves as is shown play-by-play on the NFL football fields to the halls of Congress. Anyway, I depressed myself enough...I am going to hit the homemade raspberry vodka and drink myself into oblivion because quite honestly, I think it's hopeless, the country is a write-off, there's no fixing it...How can you when most factions don't want it fixed? So, one needs to survive the best one can, under the radar...now where's that vodka.
