Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park two blocks from the office and walk the distance, isometrics are good while sitting at your desk, ditto to the push ups and squats. The muscles that function when you do squats are the largest in the body and that type of exercise has a systemic effect.
People should eat grapefruit. Years ago people used to eat a grapefruit for breakfast, now they eat an egg McMuffin or a bowl of cereal. Grapefruit is extremely healthy and good for weight loss and overall health. PS- eat it, do not drink it.
Not to derail YD's thread anymore but citrus, lemons, grapefruit and limes and so good for you- mind,body and spirit. I eat grapefruit just like an orange. I have never had a fresh one since I do not go to tropical areas. @Tully Mars did your Mum also drink lemon and water?

OK, that's what I thought. It DOES interfere with some meds. Other than that, there's no good reason why to not drink or eat grapefruit. Personally, I MUCH prefer it to OJ. YMMV, uv cuss.
I drink Ruby red, just about anytime I have it on hand. (Wife can't stand it, which means it will still be there, when I reach for it). As for the gym....I'm up and down ladders all day, carrying heavy weights, winding aprings, and unjamming stuff that is supposed to move. I get all I really need, just not the best type.
I jog a lot. It is good for me and also keeps my stress level down by giving me time to think things through.
