B. THE VENDOR REGISTRY. EVERY VENDOR OF AMMUNITION SHALL REGISTER WITH THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE IN A MANNER PRESCRIBED BY THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE, AND SHALL RECORD THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN A FORMAT PRESCRIBED BY THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE: (I) THE DATE OF THE TRANSACTION; (II) THE NAME OF THE TRANSFEREE; (III) THE PURCHASER'S DRIVER'S LICENSE NUMBER OR OTHER GOVERNMENT ISSUED IDENTIFICATION CARD NUMBER; (IV) THE DATE OF BIRTH OF THE PURCHASER; (V) THE UNIQUE IDENTIFIER OF ALL HANDGUN AMMUNITION OR BULLETS TRANS-FERRED; (VI) THE CALIBER OF THE BULLET; AND (VII) ANY OTHER INFORMATION DETERMINED NECESSARY BY THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE. In the bill are provisions that you cannot own any cartridges or bullets that are not marked with an ID#. Possession of unmarked ammo after 1/15/15 is a misdemeanor. Deer hunters cannot possess any ammo older than 3 years and must surrender it to authorities if older and hording is illegal. It is the typical communist drivel out of comrade cumos office. Serial #'s for bullets; right, yeah.
If that ever became "law" in my state, it would be crossing the line in the sand for me. Those bastards would be receiving my ammo, lead first.
I would tell the NYSP, that their Ammunition Orders will NOT be taken, or Filled, if they pass such a Statute.... Let them throw Rocks.....
They don't care what you have to say, Bruce. The system is broken, in case you haven't heard up there in Alaska. Maybe where you live you can afford to not cast the first stone, but down here in the rest of the country, we live beside the police, we go to work every day and they are watching, waiting. They raid our homes, they stop us and search us without warrant, they beat us, they kill us. And they often are not held accountable. They have already "thrown the first rocks." Now, I don't see it as radical or wrong to simply stand up for MY RIGHTS, nor should it be mistaken as a threat when I say they will not categorize and define ME as a slave. They will come in the night, in full armor and in force, they will raid homes and more innocent people will die. If the people do not take a stand, they WILL slowly be disarmed by legislation and policy. And all the words spoken, all the objections and peaceful protesting will simply be forgotten. Tyranny is born in such a way. And tyranny can only be eradicated with equal or greater FORCE. I don't like it any more than anybody else, but there it is. I WANT peace. Now I only have to worry about them wasting lots of Time, and JetA50, if they should decide, that I am such a BADA$$ that I can NOT be left alone.... and that really isn't much of a worry.... not all the way out here.... and I can see and hear them coming, from a LONG Way Away.... It is all about choices.... Personal Choices, and I made mine a LONG time ago.....
