There is one of the problems right there, it is not one of their schools those are our schools. Some people are afraid of reality, rather than fix their own short comings.
In a lot of our public schools that they consider theirs, I for one do not like the left leaning curriculum. I am an advocate for home schooling if it is at all possible for the parents to do.
