I think that is a low ball figure, I believe healthcare costs (premiums) have risen more then 10%. I think in the last few years the premiums have just at least 15-20%. Every year there is an increase with less coverage. I pay $75 a week just for the kids. The plan that we have where I work is based on age. It goes up as you get older. I am seeing some employees pay over $100 a week just for their spouse. That is insane.
