Nadia, that was our original Inverter/Charger for the cabin. We used it for 4 or 5 years, until the SW4024 Series came out, and I got the chance to BETA Test one of those for the Trace Folks. I still have that unit and it runs my cabin. I bought a SW4048, Used, that is my backup unit, and is stored in an EMP Proof container, and.is buried in 2 feet of earth, until I need it, along with a pair of backup AVRs for my twin 20kw Diesel Gensets. These are my SHTF Energy Preps.... ...... YMMV......

Bruce, I too have a back up inveter and two back up charge controllers. I also have a nice bag of new diodes just in case. Well advised to do the same. They would go down in the back of your panels in the event of an emp strike.
