oh no .... tell me it ain't so

It is a sad fact of Human Life that whenever a subgroup of a larger population begin preying on the rest of us, the entire larger group comes under attack - "payback" rarely targets those truly responsible - more often it hits the innocent. Unfortunately as the radicals continue their depredatons, the backlash will get worse.
This is one reason the greater Muslim Community MUST make themselves seen disowning the radicals, speaking aganst them and working to stop them. To date they have not done this.

 

Okay, back on post, and a logical update to my original post for this thread.

No surprises here! Just like the US Government, .... don't ask us what we want the money for, or hold us accountable to spend it like we say we are going to, and forget about the criminally inefficient wasteful misuse of the funds, just bend over and enjoy it!

Afghan President Hamid Karzai intends to impose rules restricting international involvement in anti-corruption investigations, a move that U.S. officials fear will hobble efforts to address the endemic graft that threatens support for his administration in Afghanistan and the United States.

Karzai wants to circumscribe the role of American and other foreign law-enforcement specialists in two key anti-corruption organizations that have been set up in the Interior Ministry by preventing them from direct involvement in investigations.

“The management will be Afghan, and the decision-makers will be Afghan, and the investigators will be Afghans,” Mohammed Umer Daudzai, Karzai’s chief of staff, said in a telephone interview Wednesday.

 

That is understandable - he doesn't want to be seen as the 'lapdog' of America, like so many other foreign leaders. It's a matter of saving face.
More power to him if he can pull it off. We need to get ourselves out of so much involvement over there - give advice and some help when asked, but stop throwing our weight around the Sandbox.
And stop wasting lives and money too......

 

No lapdog, no problem, no freakin money!!! I don't want us to needlessly piss away money we don't have anyway. If you walk into a bank with your hat in your hand asking for money, you don't get very far if you are dictating unacceptable terms.

 

Puppets just puppets in the wind, none of those govt, azz wipes has any idea that what they are doing is not the most important thing in the world. Hearts and minds is pure bull shat. Muslims have hated christian's for hundred's of years and will not allow any other religion on the face of the earth, period. It is a world wide agenda for a fact and any one who thinks anything else, don't matter you will end up with out a head to fool.
