Based on the website, it cost about $500. Based on a quick search, you can get 1kg of ABS filament for as little as $15. The site says 26.48kg used so ABS would be the biggest cost and still be under $400. I'm sure if you buy "a lot" you can get it for cheaper. Yes, the cost of the 3D printer is in there somewhere but it's a capital expenditure and not an operational one. Assuming you can use it again (and you darned well better be able to), the cost of the printer for this project is minimal.
