this is my review of the okapi Corn knife machete made out of 1055 Steel in South Africa. opening coconuts chopping test clearing brush and more
Looks like a good old time farm implement. Used similar knives as a kid to cut corn, sorghum, seen them used to cut broom corn and sugar cane, top sugar beets, etc. Heavy and sharp to the end and used more like a really wide hatchet and not a knife. Looks well made and to be used and not sold in China Mart to would be campers. If you were to survival farm on a larger scale, draft animals etc, it is a necessary tool.
