Didn't find an "off topic " forum here, but I am merely opening a thread to discuss senator john kerry's elitist gaff..." students: If you study hard , work and you'll do well or you can end up stuck in iraq..." He is now squirming and spinnning his explanation ala;' "billary"( he says meant President bush,) even if that was true He could at least admit his statement could be taken wrongly ( insulting the military as losers, "less than intelligent"). I and plenty of other vets take real offense to this " fruedian slip". Though the contempt for the military held by hilliary and the democratic elites is well known and documented.( mods feel free to move (or delete) this to where ever it would be more appropriate. It is political and could fire up other board members)...Michael Savage says kerry shot a hole in the botton of the democratic parties ship of state( galvinising conservatives). I would like to bE fly on the wall watching hilliary scream and pull her hair out "NOOOOOO... JOHN YOU BONEHEAD!!!!!!!"
hehehe. Lout spent a lot of time trying to explain what he meant. That foot seems to get larger every time he sticks it in his face. I just LOVE when that happens. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. [rofllmao] PS, there are any number of forums this could fit in nicely. Freedom and Liberty is good, as is the inferno. This one is ok too, but unless I miss my guess, some of the responses to come will get it shifted to the Inferno rather sooner than later.
I couldn't agree more. You're unlikely to run into any opposition on that topic. But, even if there are those who disagree, the SM community is always open for discussion and debate. BTW, we all wear steel toed boots!
He might as well of said those who served are dumbasses The idiot didn't even know how to properly apologize to the troops, wait a minute he didn't apologize to our troops. I'd be pretty pissed off if I was a vet or currently serving.
You mean he didn't say exactly that? Took you for more awake than that, Colt. Anyway, he is slowly and surely, and gaining speed toward a crash and burn in public. Again.
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." No remark about dumbasses here And his apology... "I apologize to no one for my criticism of the president and of his broken policy."
"Sir the people are hungry, they have no bread..." " Ah well, let them eat cake!" come the revolution I'll see you guys by the guilotine, frontrow, I'll bring the popcorn for everybody.
CC, my thoughts on kerry are really unprintable (even in the Inferno) so I tried for an understatment. I'm beginning to rate him right there with Hanoi Jane. His "slips of the tongue" are too frequent, too calmly delivered, to be other than what is really in his (alleged) mind.
Kerry's problem is not something one can attend a few AA meetings, for example, and be cured. Kerry has a serious flaw, weak character. Kerry has very few core beliefs he will stand up for, and most of them are so liberal, they're scary. Kerry is one of the limousine liberals who think they are smarter, so they should make all the decisions for us. I don't think Kerry is particularly corrupt, he married two rich women, I just think he missed having a good set of core beliefs, so now it is cause du jour.
For being considered so eloquent and a highly educated Yale graduate, he is either so eloquent at saying exactly what he thinks that he comes off stupid or he actually believes what he is saying. How can one man make so many verbal mistakes....at a certain point you simply have to believe that he actually believes what he is saying. I listened to the comment an it certainly didn't sound like the punch line of a joke, but rather a resounding statement that ended the paragraph. It almost looke like he was reading from some prepared notes, too. Warning to all politicians: don't do comedy unless you actually have the ability to pull it off. To Kerry: I think you are a real rooster sucker so kiss my ass! BTW -- don't go hunting for geese during the next political season.
He thinks he is above reproach, above question. Megalomania is dangerous in someone hungry for more power.
I've got a good ghost-ism for you. Instead of SMED, a manufacturing term for Single Minute Exchange of Die, John Kerry has pioneered and perfected the SMEO. The Single Minute Exchange of Opinion.
Troops Respond Oops he was right! LOL Kerry is just what the other side needs, no matter the conflict. Many Dems are wishing he'd kept his bumbling mouth shut and now he's had to cancel several campaign appearances. Who wants this jerk around?
