I don't think that the artificial eagle has any motive power of it's own, but relying on updrafts for lift, like gliders and real eagles do. It's almost large enough to carry a modest weapon pod...but certainly a surveillance camera pod.

The police won't be shooting at the model warthog....they'll be shooting at the LOS remote operator of the Warthog. Better be well camouflaged with a low thermal signature....or well armed with Stingers! I like the Eagle, because it will be in play well after peak oil really starts biting. Thermals / updrafts are free! ; )
