As a former guitar player that still fiddles around with it once in a while, I just found a free music player that other musicians might be interested in. I know there are a few of you on here. You know how playing along with your stereo can be such a pain because your usually just a little out of tune with the song that's playing? Well, this player lets you adjust and then fine tune the pitch and/or tempo seperately on any audio file or even direct from cd, and then even lets you save that modified song to a wav file to be used again later without having to re-adjust it. It works great. It's even got a vocal reducing function for you karaoke fans/aspiring singers (but I haven't tried that yet). It's very easy to use. Enjoy! http://bestpractice.software.informer.com/
And btw, if any guitar players here know an easy (and free) way to run your guitar through your computer and throw in some effects (distortion, reverb, etc), let me know.
