    Supposedly, it was a 410 shotgun slug. shooter was resting shotgun muzzle on boot. Saw this on Frugal Squirrels a couple days ago.[fnny][fnny][fnny]

    I'm glad it wasn't you ,ya can see the bone in one of those pics .
    Infection is what i would worry about if I were him .

    Knew it wasn't your foot, SC. Those shoes just don't fit your image --

    Anyway, that guy is lucky, could have been a traumatically removed digit a quarter inch one way or another.

    I tend toward the 410 story. There is burn around the shoe top hole, and while the hole sorta looked close to 45, 410 is plenty close enough.
