Pelican cases for ammo :)

Here's a picture of how I'm using small pelican cases to keep spare ammo in my pack.

    They're sizes 1010, 1030, and 1040.
1010: 50 rounds of .357sig (w/ thin layers of soft foam between each row)
    1030: 15 rounds of 2 3/4" 12ga shells.
    1040: 60 rounds of .357sig (w/ pre-cut foam from retail ammo box)

They are waterproof and crush proof. They also fit well and have no rattle after inserting
a thin piece of foam on the lid. You can also fit filled mags in these cases, depending on the
size of the mags and the case size.

I'm a newb in many areas of interest to this forum, and feel like I don't have too much to
contribute, yet... so I hope someone finds this useful :)

Pelican cases are good for anything - I have all my camera stuff in one.

    And welcome!

That is really handy, rattle proof and waterproof also. I may have to look into some.
