Platform Recovery

    Have this rather big baby working next door at the recieving station...

    A couple of platforms' had toppled during a hurricane several years ago and now weather is great for recovery and removal..

    Thought this would be of interest out here in Waterworld...lol

    Funny thing, Bill; I got a picture of that thing sitting on my desk that Joe Cain over at Coral Marine sent me a couple weeks back. I understand that it is only capable of lifting from the bottom so isn't much good for anything else and that they are only estimating another 10 or so platforms that it might be useful on before they have to scrap it or figure out another use.

    Would have thunk it better to build something a bit more versatile and somewhat easily reconfigurable considering the kind of money that most be involved.

    It could be handy for the next sunken nuke submarine, or recovering sunken ships.
