Ok, I screwed up. I was looking to get Photoshop without paying for it so I could see if it was right for me. I'll pay for anything I use but I'm not paying that much and maybe don't like it. Anyway, I go to this crack site and blammo - I get 2 viruses and loads of stuff on my PC. I try every trick I know and got rid of most of it, except now I get pop-ups all the time on the web even with 2 pop-up blockers working and they're set at "Do not let ANY pop-ups through". So obviously this is something coming from my own system but I don't know how to find it. I tried comparing the registry to the add/delete program list but there's alot of stuff in the registry that could be it and I don't want to mess with that. Argh.
Almost all Crack sites do that... I know of one clean spot to get stuff if you need it to test out. As for the rest of the problems. I had to through out a HD that got into PuH before. The stuff my daughter picked up was Class III Pop ups... Hehe Full auto screen fillers. Good luck
This Xoftspy I bought does a great job and I asked them about this. They said it was the Vundo trojan virus but when I ran their program to fix it it said I didn't have it. First time I wished I had a virus!
