Just a question. If I saw something like this advertised and I wanted to get them, do I have to have a FFL to take delivery for me then I take them from the FFL or could I have the seller send it to a location of my choice, such as back home, without having to worry about special taxes? I know if I bought something like that in Kommiefornia, I'd have to register it, though I think they are 'assault weapons' and I'd not be allowed to even think of it here as they are most likely illegal. Just wondering if they fall into the category of rifle or if they are a 'destructive force' type thing. Oh so much to learn. Haha.
If it qualifies as a gun (or the part that is serialized) then the transfer has to take place thru an FFL license. A regulation PIA that can be, too.
Okay, so my mind is made up. I've got a plan that will make sure I have weapons in a rights friendly state. I just send money to a friend and let them buy some weapons and when I'm there I can maybe use them.
Careful with that as well. BATFE frowns on straw purchases. So long as your friend keeps ownership clean, you should not have a problem.
I just wonder what they would feel like selling guns to a blind person though. I bet they'd have a ball with that one.
